Born in 1995, living and working in Tel-Aviv.
Ayala is a filmmaker and photographer.
Graduate with honors from the Photography department at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Jerusalem.
During her studies, Ayala participated in several group exhibitions in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, and Chicago, both with film and photography works.
Her first film - ‘Nothing Is Always’ has participated in the Docaviv International Documentary Film Festival at the Tel - Aviv cinematheque as part of the Student Competition, 2022. Her second film ‘They All Died’ is the Lia Van Leer Award recipient for the best experimental short in The Israeli Experimental Film and Video Art Competition, Jerusalem Film Festival, 2023.
Ayala’s work has based in the fields of image-making, filmmaking, writing and directing.
Her work focuses on the verges of states of intimacy and liminal spaces, of in-betweens as a consistent state of mind, in relationships and everyday life, situated at the intersection of documentary filmmaking, performance, video art, and traditional photography approaches.
